I feel as if this blog is useless but I like it

I am very tired but, alas, I cannot sleep. I'm not sure what is going on with my entrails but I would appreciate a little shut eye. I have read through many a blog tonight and let's just say that might be my new favorite creeper deal. I find people so fascinating. Though I follow mostly fashion and beauty related blogs, I have noticed there is so much more to the "gurus" than fashion of the days and foundation routines. They are human.

Humans are not new to society but I am viewing them as if I have been walking with dinosaurs for the past eighteen years. For some reason I have always judged people (SAY WHAT?! You JUDGED people?!) based on their outward appearances. I know, I know. I have no room to really do such a horrid thing. I am not as skinny as Nicole Richie and not as overweight as Kirstie Allie. I am not Kim Kardashian with makeup and I resemble Egor without the face fixers. Nevertheless, I judged these people who have no reason to be judged. And now I am talking-- well typing-- about just beauty bloggers but am talking about the human race. I have judged the prettiest girl in school because I wanted that attention on my looks instead of my personality. I judged the homeless men and women on the street because I was too insecure to see the genuine sadness and grief on their faces. God did not make me any better than that bully in elementary school so why was I the bully in high school?

I have choices to make in life and struggles that I need to face. I need to make a choice to face these struggles head on and focus on the more important things in life: God, my family, my studies, my friends. From here on out I will start judging people less until soon I have an open mind to everyone.

I feel as if my eyes are heavy now. Too bad it is 5:47 in the morning and I have to wake up at 7 to get dressed in a striped shirt and pink bow headband. I kind of wish I could pull off the whole ripped jeans with a band t-shirt look but, alas, I am seen as the pinked out princess. HEY! JUDGEMENTS. I think I am going to gradually start dressing more adult. I want to start wearing cute shirts with blazers and start wearing less makeup. I like that idea. I am planning on giving some clothes and shoes I never wear to Good Will so I can start filling my wardrobe with pieces that reflect who I am today and who I will grow to be in the future.

Alright. I think an hour of sleep will be better than none. Here are some pictures of pretty things that made my eyes gleam with joy.

I Have Forgotten What Sleep Is

As you can tell by the title, I cannot sleep. It is now 4:40 in the morning and I skipped hanging with my friends to sleep... That did not happen. Oh well. Cannot go to everything, eh? Since I have an obsession with surveys, I figured I would do a couple I see floating around some of my favorite blogs. (: Here it goes.

1. Thing you cannot leave the house without?
Well, I live in a dorm so it changes depending on where I'm going. However, I take my school I.D., chapstick/lipgloss, and cell phone everywhere.
2. Favorite Brand of Makeup?
Probably ELF or NYC.
3.Favorite Flower?
Pink roses, sunflowers, and peonys.
4.Favorite Clothing Store?
Forever21, Image, Target.

Juicy Couture, Lacoste Touch of Pink, Marc Jacobs Hollywood.
6.Heels or Flats?
Flats.
7.Do you make Good Grades?
Very good grades.
8.Favourite colours
Pink, of course. If I had to pick other colors I would choose navy blue, sparkly, and grey.

Frequently.

Fuse.
11.Do you like swimming?
Only in pools.
12. Do you eat fries with a fork?
No...?
13. Favorite Moisturizer?
Clinique.
14.Do you want to get married later on in life?
It's a goal.
15. Do you get mad easily?
Kind of.
16.Are you into ghost hunting?
I get scared too easily to get into that. :(
17. Any Phobias?
Birds, railing, fish.
18.Do you bite your nails?
No.
19.Have you ever had a near death experience?
Kind of but not really.
20. Do you drink Coffee?
I love it more than any drink except for peppermint teas.

What's your favorite make up look?
Pinks and browns blended together, black eyeliner winged out on top, purple eyeshadow on bottom lash line, lots of mascara, pale-ish face, bright pink cheeks, light pink lips. It's basically my everyday makeup routine when I do not smoke out my eyes with purple/blue/and black. I think of it as a mix between Barbie and Hello Kitty.
Do you have a beauty vice?
Pink nail polishes, glitter, lipgloss.
What part of your body do you love?
My eyes and legs.
Who is your beauty icon?
Paris Hilton, Ashley Olsen, Mandy Moore, and Heidi Montag.
What beauty product makes you feel instantly sexy?
Shiny pink lipgloss OR Colossal Lash mascara.
How do you look after your skin?
I drink water, tea, and eat fruit everyday.
What is your signature scent?
Probably Black Raspberry Vanilla by Bath and Body Works.
What are your haircare secrets?
I do not spend much time on my hair. It's my last priority when it comes to beauty.
How do you pamper yourself?
My princess naps and as bad as this is, I love vanilla ice cream with sprinkles and coffee or tea with it. :) It makes me feel happy and pretty.
What is your beauty pet peeve?
Too much blush (ICK) or girls who wear NOTHING. I have those days when I don't wear any makeup but everyone should wear some mascara and lipgloss every once in awhile.
What would your desert island must haves be?
My phone, iTouch, Mac, chapstick, my mommy, friends, and a Nicolas Sparks and Ernest Hemingway novel or five.
Finally, do you have a beauty philosophy?
Drink at least two glasses of water a day and eat a piece of fruit a day.
